New Mobile App Updates: Small Tweaks, Big Improvements

Our latest app update, version 6.8, brings a set of refinements that make monitoring and managing your boat a little easier. While these aren’t major overhauls, some of the changes—like customizable favorite sensors and expanded alert management—are important quality-of-life improvements for everyday use.

With this update, you can now choose your favorite sensors to display on the boat screen, giving you quicker access to the data you check most often. We've also introduced alert parameter management, allowing you to fine-tune thresholds for most sensor-based alarms. And for those using Homebases and Alert Zones, you’ll now see them on both iOS and Android, ensuring consistency no matter what device you're on.

In this post, we’ll go over what’s new, how to use these features, and what they mean for your experience. Let’s take a closer look!

Quick Access to Your Most Important Sensors: Customize Your Boat Screen

Previously, you could monitor your sensors through the Sensors page in the bottom navigation bar. With this update, we’ve made it even easier to keep an eye on the data that matters most. Now, you can add your favorite sensors directly to the boat screen for quick access and an at-a-glance overview—right where you need it.

This means you no longer have to navigate to a separate page to check key readings—whether it’s battery voltage, bilge levels, or temperature, your most important sensors are now front and center. It saves time and ensures you can quickly spot any issues without extra steps.

How to do it?

  1. On the Boat Screen, tap “Add Sensor.”
  2. Choose your favorite sensors from the list.
  3. Once selected, your chosen sensors will be displayed directly on the Boat Screen for easy access.

Manage Alert Parameters on the Go: Full Mobile Access to Sensor Settings

Previously, the ability to manage alert parameters was limited to the web app and only supported a handful of sensors. With this update, we've brought this feature to the mobile app and expanded it to include almost all sensors. Now, you can easily adjust thresholds directly from your phone, ensuring your system is always fine-tuned to your needs, no matter where you are.

How to do it?

  1. Go to the Sensors page by tapping “More” in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. Select the sensor you wish to edit.
  3. Tap the edit icon in the upper right corner.
  4. Scroll down and find the “Threshold” option.
  5. Adjust the value to suit your needs.

Alert Zones and Homebases Now Visible on Mobile: Easy Access Across Devices

Previously, Alert Zones were only accessible via the Web App, and could not be viewed on mobile. With this update, we’ve made it possible to see your existing Alert Zones and Homebases directly on both iOS and Android. While creating or editing a new Alert Zone still needs to be done through the Web App, this enhancement ensures that you can monitor and stay informed about your zones on the go, right from your phone.

How to View Alert Zones?

  1. Select “Geofence” from the main Boat screen.

  2. Zoom out on the map to reveal your existing Alert Zones/Homebases and look for the red “fence” markers that indicate the boundaries of each zone.

Update your app now to access new features that reduce menu navigation and keep you informed about what matters most. With the latest version, enjoy a smoother, more streamlined boating experience and enhanced control—right at your fingertips!
