Full Stack Connectivity
The BM-50, equipped with Bluetooth, WiFi, CAN, Ethernet, NMEA2000, and RS-485 (features vary by version), ensures seamless integration with the boat’s instrument backbone. Both Standard and Pro versions support NMEA2000, while the Pro version includes dual CAN interfaces for advanced connectivity. All versions offer mobile connectivity, providing a reliable link to essential systems.
Environmental Monitoring
Equipped with multiple sensor inputs, the BM-50 continuously monitors essential systems such as battery levels, shore power, bilge pump activity, door access, and more. Digital inputs for specific sensors (e.g., bilge, door, shore power) enable tailored monitoring configurations, all managed easily through the Sentinel app.
Remote Control Capabilities
In the Standard and Pro version, the BM-50 includes relay outputs, enabling remote control of connected devices like lights or other onboard systems. This feature is ideal for ensuring that critical devices are active, even when you’re off the boat.
Power Efficiency and Safety
Built for efficient energy consumption, the BM-50 operates on 12-30 V DC and includes safety features like battery discharge protection on the power supply. It’s designed to function reliably within a broad voltage range and challenging temperature conditions, ensuring continuous operation even in demanding marine environments.
PCB form
The BM-50 can be delivered in PCB form, ready for seamless white-label integration into OEM marine products, enabling them to become “IoT ready” with advanced connectivity and real- time monitoring capabilities.
Sentinel’s sensors are designed for easy installation and reliable performance. Many of our sensors are wireless and battery-powered, allowing you to place them wherever they’re needed on your boat without complex wiring. With battery life designed to last up to 2 years, these sensors provide long-term monitoring and flexibility, reducing the need for frequent maintenance.
Shore Power Sensor
Ensure reliable dockside power with the Shore Power Sensor. This sensor monitors your shore power connection and instantly alerts you via the Sentinel app if the connection is lost, keeping essential systems like refrigerators and battery chargers running smoothly while docked.
Gen-Set Ignition Sensor
T ake control of your generator with the Gen-Set Ignition Sensor. This sensor tracks generator activity, notifying you through the Sentinel app if it starts or stops unexpectedly, helping you ensure reliable power supply and prevent unauthorized use.
Temperature and Humidity Sensor

Air Conditioning Ignition Sensor
Manage your boat’s air conditioning effectively with the Air Conditioning Ignition Sensor. This sensor monitors the status of your AC system, letting you remotely check if it’s active and receive alerts if it turns on unexpectedly. It helps you optimize energy use and reduce unnecessary wear.
Motion Sensor
Protect sensitive areas on your boat with the Motion Sensor. This sensor detects movement in specific zones and immediately notifies you through the Sentinel app if any unusual activity occurs.
