As an IT company focused on innovative marine solutions, we are proud to have once again participated in METSTRADE 2024, the world’s largest trade exhibition for marine equipment, materials, and systems. Held annually in Amsterdam, METS attracts professionals from across the globe and provides a platform for networking and business development in the marine industry.

For several years, METS has been our most important trade show, and this year’s event was no exception. The fair was bustling with activity, bringing together industry leaders, manufacturers, and service providers for meaningful discussions and demonstrations. We had the privilege of speaking to many valuable contacts and decision-makers in the marine sector, and the event was a testament to the ongoing growth and excitement surrounding Sentinel’s solutions.

METS has always been our favorite venue to showcase new technologies, and it has provided a perfect backdrop for some of our proudest achievements. For instance, in 2022, we had the honor of presenting our new product, the BM50, for the first time ever at the show. This milestone was particularly significant as the BM50 was nominated for the prestigious DAME Award, recognizing the most innovative marine products. The BM50 is an onboard data integration hub and edge computing device that establishes a bi-directional link between the boat and applications built on top of the Sentinel Cloud, the leading Telematics SaaS platform for the leisure marine industry. With its ability to enable constant monitoring and control of multiple onboard systems, integrate seamlessly with MFDs through web server capabilities, and provide advanced AI features such as preemptive maintenance, the BM50 represented a major leap forward in how boat owners and operators manage their vessels. The recognition of this innovation at METS was a proud moment for our team, and we’ve continued to build on that success ever since.

One of the key highlights of our participation at this year's show was the official launch of our Sentinel Partner Program. The program was met with great enthusiasm as it offers installers the opportunity to join our network and benefit from exclusive access to installation jobs, marketing support, and product sales. The Partner Program is a significant step in our mission to expand our reach and work closely with professionals who share our commitment to innovation in the marine industry.

METS 2024 has once again reaffirmed the importance of face-to-face meetings, where connections are made, ideas are shared, and the future of the industry is shaped. We left the event more inspired than ever, with new opportunities on the horizon and a stronger network of partners and clients.
